Sheryl Johnson (she/her) is a settler who lives on Lisjan, Ohlone territory in what is colonially referred to as Berkeley, California. She teaches ethics, pastoral care, and church leadership at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary.
Additionally, Sheryl is an ordained minister in the United Church of Canada, with dual standing in the United Church of Christ. With her co-editor, Dannis Mattheson, she is currently in the final stages of finishing an edited volume entitled The Business of God: Theological and Ethical Reflections on the Church Industrial Complex. Her first book, entitled Serving Money, Serving God: Aligning Radical Justice, Christian Practice, and Church Life was published by Fortress in 2023.
